​La Digue
​La Digue is the third largest inhabited island in the Seychelles and lies east of Praslin. Home to over 2500 people, La Digue is named after a ship in the fleet of French explorer Marc-Joseph Marion du Fresne who visited the Seychelles in 1768. La Digue is known today for its beautiful beaches and is a popular tourism destination. A short 15 minutes boat ride from Praslin with the Cat Rose ferry bringing you to the island of La Digue. Stepping off of the boat, one will immediately notice oxcarts waiting at the harbour along with taxis.

Oxcarts are La Digue's main form of transport with bicycles available to hire for visitors wanting to explore the pebbled streets on their own. The island offers tranquility to those wanting to get away from the every day's work stress.
